1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to Darzi ("the App"), developed and operated by TechNext96 ("we", "us", or "our").

Darzi is a digital workshop management and Point of Sale (POS) application created specifically for bespoke tailoring shops, master cutters, and stitchers. The application facilitates recording customer body measurements (Naap), managing order production stages (New, Cutting, Stitching, Ready, Delivered), setting ready-by dates, tracking daily cashbook transactions, and maintaining client credit ledgers (Khaata).

We respect your privacy and the privacy of clients whose measurements and orders you record in the App. This Privacy Policy discloses our practices regarding data collection, usage, storage, sharing, and user control.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account Holder / Shop Owner Personal Data

• Authentication Information: Mobile phone number (for SMS OTP verification), email address, and encrypted passwords managed via Google Firebase Authentication.
• Google Account Data: If using Google Sign-In, we receive your Google UID, account email address, and display name.
• Shop Business Profile: Shop name, owner contact number, active operating currency (e.g. PKR, AED, SAR, INR, USD, EUR, GBP), garment catalog list, stitching rates, and custom receipt templates.

B. Customer Data Entered by the Tailor

Tailors enter client details solely to record and fulfill custom garment orders:

• Identity: Customer full name, mobile phone number, and optional email address.
• Body Measurements (Naap): Length (Lambai), Shoulder (Tera), Sleeves (Bazu), Cuff Width (Bazu Muth), Chest (Chhati), Waist (Kamar), Daman/Ghera, Neck/Collar (Gala), Shalwar Length, Shalwar Width/Asan, and Bottom Opening (Paincha).
• Style Preferences: Collar style (Bain, Shirt Collar), Cuff design, Pocket selections, and Daman cut (Round or Square).
• Order Details: Garment quantity, cloth origin (customer's cloth vs shop cloth), meterage, promised delivery dates, and custom notes.
• Client Financial Ledger: Order prices, advance deposits, remaining dues, and informal Khaata credit records.

C. Automatically Collected Telemetry

Via Google Firebase Analytics, we collect pseudonymized metrics: device model, operating system version, app version, language preference (Urdu/English), screen navigation routes, and error diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Tailoring Operations: To create, track, and complete bespoke tailoring orders.
• Measurement Archiving: To preserve customer body measurements for repeat orders without requiring remeasurement.
• Bookkeeping & Ledgers: To track order balances, pending customer credit (Khaata), daily cashbook flow, and worker wages.
• Delivery Notifications: To schedule local on-device alarms when an order is due for delivery.
• Data Portability: To enable shop owners to export their complete data into open standard CSV format.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data solely with trusted infrastructure service providers:

6. Device Permissions Requested

The App requests only necessary permissions:

• Notifications (Android 13+ / iOS): To post on-device delivery reminder alerts when orders are due.
• Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To trigger reminder alarms at the exact scheduled delivery time.
• Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): To restore scheduled delivery reminders if the phone restarts.
• Vibrate: To vibrate when local notifications fire.
• Files / Sharing: To allow exported CSV files to be accessed via the Files app or shared via Share Sheet.

Permissions NOT Requested: Camera, Photo Gallery, Contacts, Microphone, Bluetooth, and GPS Location are NOT requested.

7. Photos & Media Storage

Darzi does NOT access your camera or photo gallery. We do NOT store customer photos, cloth fabric images, or photo scans of slips. The App does NOT use Firebase Storage or any image hosting bucket.

8. Security, Offline Storage & Data Protection

• Offline-First Persistence: Cloud Firestore stores an encrypted local cache on your device so the App is fully functional without internet. Changes automatically synchronize when connection resumes.
• Shop Isolation: Backend Firestore Security Rules strictly enforce that each shop owner can only access data belonging to their specific shop. Other shops cannot view your customer records.
• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and Google servers is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption.

9. User Rights & Account Deletion

• Edit & Correct: You can edit customer information, measurements, and order details inside the App at any time.
• Delete Records: Deleting a customer permanently removes their document and lookup index from Cloud Firestore immediately.
• Data Export: You can export your complete database (Customers, Naap, Orders, Payments, Khaata) to CSV via the "Export Data" screen.

Account & Shop Data Deletion Process

To permanently delete your user account, shop database, and all associated customer records:

• Email: Send a request to support@technext96.com with subject "Account Deletion Request".
• WhatsApp: Contact our support team at +92 349 1089456.

All authentication credentials, shop records, and customer histories are permanently purged from Firebase within 30 days of verification.

10. Children's Privacy

Darzi is a commercial business management tool designed for tailoring professionals. It is not directed to or intended for children under 13. While tailors may record clothing measurements for children on behalf of adult parents, we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date will reflect revisions. Continued use of the App following updates signifies your acceptance.
